Story Spinning

A fun and informative session where children explore how stories like rumour can travel, change and become distorted through re-interpretation.

The session gives reference to the oral tradition, drawing on familiar stories and tracking their journey from their inception to the present day, observing the changes and transformations as they travel, are told and translated.

Appropriate Key Stages: Key Stage Two.

Size of Group: Ideally class size groups.

Duration: Approximately one Hour.
