The Story Circus

Wizard Stories’ The Story Circus is an interactive story theatre project. Our storytellers first use our interactive storytelling technique to create a bespoke story for the group. We can ensure that particular necessary or relevant topics can be woven into a story, or can be the focus of the whole project.

The newly born story then becomes the stimulus for the resulting piece of theatre. Your group learns to retell the story through a variety of storytelling techniques, including narrative, physical creativity, non-vocal and vocal skills. The focus of each session is highly participatory, with a strong emphasis on teamwork, team building, negotiation, and speaking and listening skills. This work can culminate in an informal sharing for an audience of your choice, schoolmates, families and friends.

Appropriate Key Stages: Upper Key Stage Two and Key Stage Three.

Size of Group: Ideally class size groups.

Duration: Wizard would work with you to construct your ideal project.
