Wizard’s Living Library

We all carry stories around with us every day. Funny stories, words of wisdom, historical dramas drawn from our own life experiences. In fact, we’re all like a living library, talking and walking about, throughout the days.

Wizard’s Living Library gives you the chance to ‘borrow a book or story’ from one of these rare and living archives. Through storytelling, story-sharing and writing, music and song, improvisation, characterisation, and other drama techniques, the young and the 'young at heart' meet and share stories, experiences.

Participants work together in groups to chose and construct a narrative story from the experiences related to them Through a careful creative process they will work as a team to précis, rehearse and polish a piece of reminiscence theatre from their initial meeting.

Wizard’s Living Library aims to enrich all our understandings of the processes of life, the rites of passage that help us to acquire the life and work skills necessary for a successful life and career.

Appropriate Key Stages: All Key Stages.

Size of Group: Ideally Class Sized Groups.

Duration: Wizard would work with you to construct your ideal project.
