Special Projects:

All Aboard

An Interactive Residency at The Old Station Museum, North Woolwich.

The sights, sounds and smells of the station, are still so clear in my mind. 'The Big Day' finally arrived. The whoosh of the steam, the crackling of coal and the scream of the whistle, the guard roaring 'All Aboard!'

My heart started to race as I struggled up into the carriage. A quick goodbye and a wave and suddenly we were off, thundering through hills and fields unknown to me.

Where were we going?…and what would we find when we got there?

Newham Heritage Service, Newham EAZ schools and Wizard Stories collaborated to provide a unique and exciting resource to schools. Through storytelling and drama, children have the opportunity to explore the exhibits of The Old Station Museum, North Woolwich, as well as visiting key themes such as travel, history, geography and many more. Each session promises humour and a hands-on approach in a museum visit with a difference!

All Aboard is available to schools in Newham by application, alternatively if you would like Wizard Stories to enhance your school visit, or if you would like to discuss how we could breathe new life into your venue contact us.
